If You Want Me To

I want to thank everyone for their prayers! My husband is in the first step of a multi-step process in a job interview. I really hope he gets it, but it would be a HUGE adjustment for us.

We'd be going from here:

to here:

It would be a major uprooting, but I'm kind of itching for an adventure. I figure that, wherever God wants us, He'll put us. My husband is kind of brushing off this interview, figuring that he's not going to get this job, never know!

I'll keep you up-to-date on it. I'm going to be praying for weeks with this one! ;)

I'd like to leave you with a song I've been listening to a lot lately. I love it.

If You Want Me To by Ginny Owens

The pathway is broken
And The signs are unclear
And I don't know the reason why You brought me here
But just because You love me the way that You do
I'm gonna walk through the valley
If You want me to

Cause I'm not who I was
When I took my first step
And I'm clinging to the promise You're not through with me yet
so if all of these trials bring me closer to you
Then I will walk through the fire
If You want me to

It may not be the way I would have chosen
When you lead me through a world that's not my home
But You never said it would be easy
You only said I'd never go alone

ya oh oh no

So When the whole world turns against me
And I'm all by myself
And I can't hear You answer my cries for help
I'll remember the suffering Your love put You through
And I will go through the valley If You want me to

  1. Love that you can see God's fingerprints all of your hubby's possible new job and future home for you both. Praying without ceasing for goodness and blessings in your lives.

    Love and Hugs ~ Kat

  2. I saw a movie a while back called 'Leaving Normal' about 2 women who met up and traveled to Alaska. I fell in love with Alaska right then and there. If you do go, you can be darn sure I'm coming for a visit!

  3. Gos is so good and sometime we can not see this. I know I am guilty in the first degree. I will pray for him and your family. Thank you for your kindnesses regarding my son. He is resting with his antibiotic and he does have strep throat. Thanks for the prayers. Anne

  4. Best wishes to your husband... My husband was laid off 7 months ago and landed the exact job he wanted a few weeks ago - I just blogged about it today...
    Love to you.
