Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and I have founded empires. But on what did we rest the creations of our genius? Upon force. Jesus Christ founded his empire upon love; and at this hour millions of men would die for him. ~Napoleon Bonaparte
If Jesus Christ were to come today people would not even crucify him. They would ask him to dinner, and hear what he has to say, and make fun of it. ~Thomas Carlyle
I believe in equality for everyone, except reporters and photographers. ~Gandhi
You have to walk carefully in the beginning of love; the running across fields into your lover's arms can only come later when you're sure they won't laugh if you trip. ~Jonathan Carroll, "Outside the Dog Museum"

I've always loved quotations and I thought I'd share some with you before I go to bed this early morning. This is the latest I've stayed up in awhile and it feels good. Makes me feel my age :)
I apologize for not being here sooner. I'll post pictures of my cupcake party on Sunday though!
As a side thought...do you have any cupcake suggestions that I could make?
I love the first one by Napoleon Bonaparte. I haven't seen any of those quotes before. Thanks for sharing.
