Friend-Makin' Mondays!

Hello, hello all!

I tried to post pictures of my pies that I made this weekend, but my Mac hates uploading pictures (weird, right?) so I do most of this at work. Shh!!! But I decided to take a break and do Friend-Makin' Mondays. Thank you, Kasey!!

So here's todays:

"So today's task is Confessions! Spill you guts"

1) My husband always ends up doing most of the laundry and dishes and I feel AWFUL about it. Horrifyingly guilty. I hate doing the laundry (we have to walk 10 blocks), but I don't mind dishes. He just always decides to start them and we don't have enough space for both of us to do it. I try and dry them though!!

2) I binge eat every once in awhile. Anything I can get my hands on. I hate it and I try to stop it.

3) Sometimes, SOMETIMES, I get really angry when I have to get up on the subway to give my seat to someone. Mainly, when someone asks me to get up. I know I shouldn't, but I still do. I don't mind getting up, but when I want to get up. I'm working on it.

4) My in-laws can irritate me to no end. Is that a confession? My husband's father almost didn't come visit because we don't have air conditioning. When we take them out to eat at different places (aka: not Olive Garden), his dad looks at us like we're eating monkey brains. I hope we go to Korean BBQ next time they're in town (which is in two weeks...)

5) I hate when my husband does laundry. Just in general. I get whiny and wish he was home. And then I feel guilty about it.

I'm really trying to work on it all though, you know? ;) I really am!!!

  1. Maybe it's because I've only been on the subway twice, but why do you have to get up cause someone asks you too? And what type of people are asking you to get up? They better have been old or preggo, otherwise I would have pretended not to hear them lol... naaa, I would have gotten up but been really angry like you
Visiting from FMM and you have a new follower!

  2. Great list...

Hey let hubby do the laundry and need to feel guilty! LOL

    Happy FMM...

  3. One thing I ALWAYS do, is that I always give up my seat for pregnant women because people rarely do. Mainly for the elderly. I do get up most of the time, but I've had people come on and just barrel over to me and ask. My mom says it's because I look like I would get up. :-D

  4. I can absolutely relate to the binge eating comment. It's so frustrating! I blame mine on hormones...but it could just be a simple lack of willpower. :S

    Great list! Happy FMM!

  5. This is a great list...Happy FMM!

  6. Oh I like your confessions! I used to feel awful when my husband would clean a room (without me asking) or do the dishes. I have always felt that was my "job" and felt so guilty that he would do it...kind of like I failed. Well, I have to admit, the older I have gotten, the less it bothers me as he says he likes to do it. I'll keep telling myself he does!

  7. Funny list- the subway thing made me laugh- do people really ask you to give up your seat??? Huh??

    Have a great week!

  8. Hi there! Happy FMM! I liked your list. My husband does the laundry around here. And 10 blocks - that is a trek.

    In-laws are tricky!

  9. That #4 cracked me up!!!

    Happy FMM!

  10. No one has ever actually asked me to give up my seat on the subway. Who do they think you are? Screw them...

And I laughed so hard when I read about Olive Garden. I'm afraid I was a little weirded out by the lack of chains (err, the lack of eating at chains) when I moved to NYC a couple years ago. But now I'm embarrassed to think that I ever considered Olive Garden to be my favorite restaurant. Now I know I was simply a product of my own ignorance. ;)
And you should take them out for Korean BBQ. It's fantastic. Or Thai on 84th & 2nd.
