Chocolate Guinness cupcakes with peanut butter filling and chocolate buttercream frosting. One has a Reeses' Pieces on top and the other one a mini Reeses' cup. Steve thought the Reeses' Piece was better looking. I was wondering though if they should be plain.
Vanilla cupcakes with lemon curd filling and blueberry buttercream frosting. I LOVE the lemon curd.
How was your weekend? I love the weekends, but I always feel like there's never enough time!!
Chocolate Guinness cupcake with peanut butter cup....GIRL...that cupcake has my name on it.
ReplyDeleteThey look amazing!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from SITS! Have a great day!
Do you have a special pastry dispenser that makes your frosting look so good?
ReplyDeleteJust an 1M tip and a pastry bag. I bought some disposable ones and they're a lot easier for me to use. And THANK YOU! Part of my making all these cupcakes is to practice the frosting.
ReplyDeleteOhmigosh, those are the prettiest cupcakes!!! You certainly have a knack for snacks!
ReplyDeleteI spent the weekend with my grandkids and neighbor kids. We had a blast! The kids made applesauce muffins and white chocolate cookies all by themselves, we watched movies and partied during the football game.
oh my!! those look yummy!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness....just lovely :)
ReplyDeleteWell I've posted your wonderful story to the ARK blog and wanted to personally thank you for allowing me to print it. As for these cupcakes, love the idea of chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter and chocolate frosting with a peanut butter cup on top! MMMMmmm, loving this!

Chocolate! Food! Yum. I need to get offline and find something to eat evidently. :)
ReplyDeleteOh FANTASTIC!!! You know, the hubbs was telling me chocolate might go well with the stout cupcakes. I'm totally giving this a shot, now! How was the peanut butter with 'em? I mean, I KNOW PB + chocolate = heaven, but throw in the cupcakes? Lemme know!
ReplyDeleteThe peanut butter cup one looks amazing! I wish there was a way I could reach my hand in the computer and grab it!
ReplyDelete...stopping by from SITS...

Stopping by from SITS. these look amazing. i am droooooling already. Beautifuly appetizing too
ReplyDeleteStopping by from SITS - those chocolate cupcakes look AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeleteAll those cupcakes look yummy! If you don't like the look of the peanut butter cup on top, try pushing it down so the top of it is level with the top of the icing. That chocolate icing looks fantastic though, so if you want to leave them plain the cupcakes would still be gorgeous! About my blueberry icing--unfortunately I decided to use a limited edition blueberry flavored coffee creamer. I haven't seen it around anymore. The frosting would be fine without it though, I'm sure :)
